I cried myself to sleep.....I cried myself to sleep last night, for the first time in a year.

My patchwork love now picked apart once more, with each and every tear.
My heart misshaped and smudged cross my pillow, water form fiction.

Dark Crimson steaks biting at my mind, to chant dark ghosts of fear.

Of Bamboo and Bluebirds...by ~blissychild

I found some new paint brushes in the market today, proper bamboo, varnished and smoothed. The brush tips were so perfect i had to pick them up. I wanted to test them quickly so a painted a little sketch of a bluebird that was sitting at my window. He didn't move until I had finished and shown him. I think he was pleased. I am.

Photoshop, a good day's work.
Bluebird sketch painted upon rice-paper with ink and bamboo brushes.
The japanese character apparently symbolises bird but don't quote me on that.

I don't know why but i really like this on my desktop. Try it, you might too!

Wow! This is really pretty.... everything about it looks great! The brushes, the paper, the painting itself! I love the little symbol on the paper and the texture of the tabla a lot though.

And it's so original, something you don't find much of any more...

*squeals* EEEEE!! I love this so much!
