I found some new paint brushes in the market today, proper bamboo, varnished and smoothed. The brush tips were so perfect i had to pick them up. I wanted to test them quickly so a painted a little sketch of a bluebird that was sitting at my window. He didn't move until I had finished and shown him. I think he was pleased. I am.

Photoshop, a good day's work.
Bluebird sketch painted upon rice-paper with ink and bamboo brushes.
The japanese character apparently symbolises bird but don't quote me on that.

I don't know why but i really like this on my desktop. Try it, you might too!

Ah! Gotta love that Japanese brush stroke style.^^ You did a great job with how the lines and colors interact.:aww: It's uneven coloring that actually enhances the picture rather than making it look sloppy!:D :+fav:
