A fun inspirational quote I've stumbled upon;

Yeah, ok, so it's not inspirational. But it's fairly true isn't it?
I bet you can all name about 10 friends who, over the years, you just aren't friends with anymore?
Ok, so 10 is a large number, but not for me. I do miss the friendships I had with people back then, Samantha, Laura, Katie, Sian. So many people. I swear everytime I decide to label someone "Best Friend" they move away. No exceptions so far.

But yeah, life goes on. And oh doesn't it?


So my week was dull but I'm not doing much now so I'm updating this thing again.
I quite enjoy it now. I read back through it on Wedneday and, though I didn't update it for a long time, I got some interesting facts out of it. Learnt a lot about how I've changed. It was also quite a fun read, I can be pretty witty. Heh.

So now I've realised that I'm using this as a blog, more for myself than anyone else. Except that anyone can read it, and most of my friends know where it is. So it's pretty censored.
lol. Not a great blog then is it?
Well no, but I tried livejournal, and that was pretty weird. I'm not really sure how to go about this diary thing so I'll just do what I do here. Mwah!


I submitted my CV to Monster Jobs today and like 2 hours later, I've already had a call for a job in the nearby Wokingham area for a lab microbiologist. Sounds like easy work! Fun times!

I've also applied for an internship in a Research and Development department in a Pharmaceutical company like an hour away. It's only 4 months but oh, hey wait what's that? £10 an hour!? [that's like $20 for you Americans] I think that'd be enough to cover my rent, at least for a little while.
They've already discussed it over the phone with me and now it'd just a matter of seeing if they're willing to wait until after I graduate.


I get to go house hunting soon. Oh the FUN that will be. My rent will be going up from what I pay now by like about £60-70.
Yey *sarcastic deaf applause*
Plus the place will be unfurnished. Cheap furniture ahoy!

Buuuuuuuuut I now have rough plans for a holiday next year.
Yes that's right. My girls and I, we're going to FIJI!
How awesome was that?!

Yep. That could be me. On a beach in Fiji.
It's not for a long time though so I've time to save, find a permanent job, party and miss the crap out of ~ovidien

I wish she wasn't going. Boonay! That's going to be the worst feeling in the world. I need to win the lottery so I can follow everyone I love across the globe or just pick them up and take them with me [rope is an amazing thing. So are chains.]

So ~ovidien was telling me how she was reading her old diaries and she'd noted down music that made her think back and remember [I'm paraphrasing, it sounded better from her]
But yeah, so listing all this music I like might be fun to look back on in a year. Buuuutch Walker baby. Heh.

Anyway aside from that, stuck in my head right now is Something Corporate
~ovidien gave me their album North which got her through harsh times. It's actually a very beautiful album.
